I will go wherever there is a story to be told. My reporting has taken me to Washington D.C. for the presidential inauguration and to Tijuana to meet Mexican journalists. I spent most of 2019 in New York City where I studied journalism and interned for Fortune magazine through the Dow Jones News Fund business reporting program. More recently, I had the opportunity to cover my hometown of San Diego as an investigative intern for inewsource. Currently, I am working as a reporter for the San Diego Business Journal with a focus on biotech and healthcare.

 

I'm a recent grad with a passion for sharing stories through writing, audio and photography. My goal as a journalist is to minimize misunderstandings within my community. I believe that multimedia storytelling has the power to connect people during a time when words alone fail to make sense of current events.
